Installation:  Install Java JRE 1.5 or later, if you don't already have it,  then download and unzip  the ZIP file.  On many systems you can double click the entrance jar icon to start the program.  You can also run it using the command:  "java -jar (path to the program directory)/entrance.jar".  A MySQL driver is bundled.  This download includes the cross platform community JAR, documentation and sources.  The Entrance program and its sources are delivered subject to the GPL license.   
 
(Note:  The Enterprise Version is available as a dockable Macintosh or Windows application.  Community Version is not.  However, Community Version can be made a Macintosh application using Jar Bundler, and it can be made a Windows application using Launch4j)

Licensing information for the MySQL driver
The MySQL JDBC driver, which is now included in the Entrance ZIP and DMG file downloads, is also subject to the terms of the GNU GPL, but with certain exceptions.  The MySQL driver license is here and its exceptions are listed here.  Driver source is available from http://www.mysql.com/ in the file “mysql-connector-java-5.0.4.zipâ€�.  If you are unable to obtain the driver source from that web site, contact us, and we will provide it.
